Brooklyn Multi-Generational Housing Complex - SP 24

This project was located on a street corner in the Brooklyn Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood with the main occupants being multi-generational families. Duplexes and simplexes were chosen as the unit types in order to fit different types of families and the various needs of age groups. These units are staggered and stacked in two adjacent towers to allow for natural light to all units. The complex is elevated to allow for businesses and services for the residents. The podium also allows for a private green space between the apartment towers for families to enjoy. Sky bridges connect the towers to communal balconies and spaces.
